Position Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of operations and production on a portfolio of maintenance accounts including labor, materials and equipment. An ideal candidate is someone who has been in the green industry or facility maintenance or services industries with experience managing existing accounts in an effort to increase overall customer satisfaction and revenue. Come Join Team Green! Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact for our property account managers. Understand client Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers through communication and service, ensuring they receive quality, timely service on their projects. Build and present compelling customer-centric proposals to Property Account Mangers and/or HOA board members. Manage crew members as needed including (but not limited to): morning dispatch, performance management, scheduling, addressing complaints as well as planning, assigning or directing work load. Provide proactive site quality reviews and communicate assessments internally and externally. Network and earn referrals to help GELLV achieve it’s new growth objectives. Work well with operations team members and leverage their expertise with yours. Lead the divisions in growing it’s base contracts in the targeted market segments and geographic locations. Hit specific benchmarks and reach/maintain a high success rate in closing business. Assist the office team in achieving its overall objectives of quality, retention, growth and profitability. Assist with crew and irrigation training as needed. Use maps, photos, e-mails and text to communicate effectively with clients Responsible for working with Business Development team to onboard and integrate new clients. Qualifications: (including but not limited to) High School degree required. Associates or Bachelor s Degree desirable. 5 years+ of client & crew management experience within the commercial landscape industry with a proven track record of managing a large client portfolio is highly preferred Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid to senior levels. Experience with a CRM or SFA tool. Experience managing multiple projects and a large territory General knowledge of irrigation systems & turf management programs. Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to schedule multiple projects, prioritize work and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and responsibility for all activities of self and team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of leadership, team members, and clients both verbally and written. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and trust when dealing with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues. Strong working knowledge of computers with proficiency in G-mail, Word, and Excel. Experience with Aspire CRM platform is a plus. Travel required between client worksites, as well as other operational sites. Occasional travel to facilitate training may also be required. Valid driver s license with a reasonably clean record.
